MKT130 & MKT131

The MKT130 & MKT131 courses are internships. There is no specific class schedule even though the registration process indicates meeting times. Students must meet with me during the first week of the quarter. This is an important meeting and it is designed to help with career goals and paths.

Listed below are objectives of this meeting

• Analyze current career situation
• To learn what is the ideal job for you
• Assess your career path
• To discuss career resources available to students
• To offer guidance on the best ways of using career resources
• To help prepare students for future career changes
• To explain the course requirements

Students will receive an Internship Procedures Manual at the meeting or it can be downloaded from the link below. There is a weekly time sheet that should be delivered to Mr. Sewell. Each course requires students to work for 90 hours in a supervised work environment.
