FAQ - Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: I wanted to let you know that I registered for OBI 1 & 2. Mr. Gannage had to override the system since it would not except two classes scheduled for the same time. So I'm registered and Mr. Gannage said I needed to get in touch with you to get any further details. I should be graduating or will be done with all courses next semester. I also checked out the course syllabi and your links for the intro. on the class. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do besides be at the meetings the first week. A: The internships are custom designed to fit the specific needs of each intern. A considerable amount of discussion and preparation is needed at the beginning of the term. You need to schedule a meeting with me during the first week of the quarter to go over these details.
Q: My husband had sent you an email stating that we wanted to enroll in the
Entrepreneurship online class, and he said that you would need something from me
stating that I wanted to sign up. So, here is my student i.d. # (deleted)
& hopefully you will still be able to fit me in the class. A: This course has not filled up so you will be able to sign up for it during new student registration. Because of federal regulations, I am prohibited from corresponding to students through another person even if they are friends or family. Returning student registration closed today at 5pm. Please come to new student registration to sign up for the course. Q: I wanted to see if either of you had an email address to the lady at Waco who handles the sign up. I forgot her name, but her number is 770-537-7979. Maybe that will help. Any how I have left her voice mails and still have not received a reply and I want to make sure I am set up for the next available test date. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Q: My name is (deleted) and I registered for your class MKT 110 during late registration(drop/add). I was told that I needed to write to you and let you know that I have been added to your role for MKT 110. I have logged onto blackboard and received all course material for the class. I ordered my books and was given a 3 to 6 business day delivery date for those books. I am not sure what I should do about the first assignment being that I have not received my books yet. The books should be arriving within the next couple of days. If you could, please e-mail me back to let me know that you received this message. I look forward to learning new things this quarter. Thank You! A: You are going to be starting 2 weeks behind. It is your responsibility to
complete the first 2 modules before the midpoint in the quarter. By the time
your books arrive, you will need to complete about half the course in 2 weeks.
Let me know right away if you want to drop the course. If you let me know the
first week of class, you can get a refund.
Q: I was trying to register online. I was able to register for CIS 103 but ACC 101 (20574) said "PREQ and TEST SCORE-ERROR." What do I need to do to add this class? A: There is a problem with the way ACC101 is set up in Banner. The Registrar is aware of the problem, but has not corrected it at this time. Students needing to register for ACC101 will need assistance from their advisor. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Q: I was trying to get in ECO 191 which I just changed my major yesterday to Marketing Management. The restriction is saying Major restriction so I was just trying to figure out exactly what this was. A: It takes several weeks for a major change to get all the way through the system. Follow the instructions given to you by Student Services.
